Levigo is looking for a consultant for CSA Drafting and BIM Support for a leading green steel company in Boden!

The client requires external CSA drafting and BIM support for selected in-house engineering changes. The intent is to assign a competent drafter/modeler from an existing framework engineering partner who can work from client engineering inputs and support the production of 3D model content and 2D drawing deliverables.

Scope Of Services 

• Provide CSA drafting and BIM modelling support for inhouse engineering scopes identified by the client. 
• Prepare and update 3D model content for foundations, piling, slabs, platforms and related civil/structural elements based on Stegra input. 
• Prepare and update 2D drawings such as piling layouts, foundation layouts, slab/foundation arrangement drawings, elevations, sections and detail drawings as required by Stegra. 
• Use Stegra-provided design basis, sketches, mark-ups, calculations, design reports, drawing numbers, title blocks, BIM/CAD standards and document-control instructions. 
• Incorporate Stegra review comments, checker comments and interdisciplinary interface comments into model and drawing deliverables. 
• Support coordination with Stegra CSA, GEO, BIM, document control and relevant discipline interfaces. 
• Required software tools: Tekla, Revit, AutoCAD, Navis Works

Required Resource Profile 

• CSA drafter / BIM modeller with civil-structural background. 
• Experience with industrial foundations, piling, concrete slabs, platforms and steel-structure support foundations and reinforcement details. 
• Able to produce 3D model content and 2D drawings from engineering mark-ups and calculations. 
• Able to work with Stegra title blocks, drawing numbering, CAD/BIM standards and document-control requirements. 
• Able to work in close coordination with Stegra designers, checkers and BIM coordination. 
• Able to work offsite / remotely, respond on demand with one week notice, and support short-cycle review/comment updates. 

Deliverables 

• Native 3D model files / model updates in the agreed project platform and format. 
• Native 2D drawing files in the agreed CAD format. 
• PDF drawing exports or check prints for Stegra review where requested. 
• Updated drawing bases, title blocks, scales, views, sections and revision information as instructed by the client. 
• Comment incorporation records or marked-up responses where requested. 

Initial allocation: 50 hours. 
Availability requirement: the offsite / remote resource shall be available on demand with one week notice. 
Extension: additional hours may be requested by Stegra if further DCRs or additional drafting/model updates are released. Any extension shall be agreed before the initial allocation is exceeded. 
Recommended level basis: Level 2 is preferred because the task requires an experienced CSA drafter/BIM modeller who can work independently from Stegra mark-ups and calculations, but Stegra retains design ownership, checking, approval and final document issue..

We expect the consultant to have their own hardware (PC/laptop) and licenses for the following systems: Tekla, Revit, AutoCAD, Navis Works. This shall all be included in the offered rate

Hours will be varied, and requested when needed. Initially up to 50 hours
